Hi, I’m Faizan. I run FEWERtabs — a small builder studio focused on shipping products that simplify how businesses operate online.
Over the last few years I’ve built and shipped 18 products: 2 custom ecommerce stores and 16 AI SaaS apps. My approach is simple: fewer tabs, fewer platforms, less renting — more ownership for the people I build for.
SwitchKit is my current paid offer — a done-for-you custom ecommerce build for marketplace sellers who want their own store, their own data, and their own checkout.
Why I’m Building This
I Didn’t Start in Tech.
I started as a screenwriter. No CS degree, no formal training — just a collaborative passion project and a stubborn refusal to quit. Then ChatGPT shipped at the end of 2022, and everything changed.
I co-led Jollybird, an AI-powered screenwriting platform, and within months I was doing more LLM architecture and prompt engineering than actual writing. When developers on the team got stuck — couldn’t get a model to reliably return structured JSON, didn’t know how to wire an LLM into a broken workflow — I was the one who solved it. A produced Netflix screenwriter became one of our beta testers. That’s when I knew this was the real skill.
From there I moved to AdPrompt, designing chatbot architecture for production use, then founded Logic Legion — later rebranded to OriginsCorp.ai — and scaled it to an 8-person team building AI systems and products including Scalyn, Petivio, MotoFixxx, and others. I still have no CS degree. Every engineer I’ve led does. I lead them anyway, because I learned this the only way it actually sticks: building it, breaking it, and fixing it live for paying clients.
For the past two years, I’ve worked directly alongside Ahmed Shahid, who runs a multimillion-dollar eBay/Amazon store — not pitching in from the outside, but inside the actual operation: the listings, the fee structures, the fulfillment headaches, the platform rules that cap how big a seller is allowed to get before the platform starts taking more. That’s not theory for me. I watched it happen in real time, at real volume.
thefewertabs is the next chapter. It’s where I’m channeling everything above — the AI systems work and the marketplace operations work — into products that give sellers back ownership. SwitchKit, our first venture under thefewertabs, is the direct result: sellers doing everything right and still handing 10–20% of every sale to a platform that owns their customer list. I’m not guessing what operators need. I’ve been in the room.
